Hello and Welcome to our wedding blog, we are just starting out on the planning road and this is my first blog so umm be patient and kind :)
if you don't know us we met 21st of Feb 2003, moved in together 11th June 2003 and got engaged in November 2003ish. We have spent most of our relationship saving for our wedding and getting no-where fast so we decided to just go for it and Pay as We Go. (I'll let you know how this goes) so we finally picked a date and i called the Vicar at Ninfield to arrange the initial meeting, 9th March 09. We hope to get married 20th of Feb 2010 as this will be the day before our 7th anniversary.
Ive been googling East Sussex weddings for the last three days trying to get some good ideas for reception venues but cant find anything i like more than the idea of the village hall as its a really nice spacious venue that we can decorate ourselves (read my self) anyway i have so many ideas for colour schemes and themes though I'm not sure about themed weddings i really just want it to look nice and mostly not 'on a budget' i like the idea of crisp white linen with blue and pink gerbera decorations but again I'm not sure on this, I'm going to post my colour sheet tomorrow so i have a detailed record of the stages. I'm sure by the time I'm finished i will be a bit of a Monica with an entire portfolio of schemes and fabrics.

- Ellie and Nick met in 2003, they decided they would get married in 2004 and then they thought they would save and perhaps get married in 2005 having had a nice long engagement. by 2007 they were still just engaged and had practically given up on the idea but then in 2009 they said stuff it, lets have a Pay as you Go wedding. So here we are

Congrats! Marriage is awesome. Planning a wedding, on the other hand, can be less than awesome. Lol. Take deep breaths and relax. Also, pass off as much to family as you can. If they want to help, let them!
